Shayne Izatt (Owner, Operator) graduated from Yale with a
BA in architecture in 1995. Shayne was first introduced to
theater set building at the Manhattan Theatre Club in 1999
where he worked under Technical Director Betsy Tanner.
After years as hired help, he was offered a staff position
and eventually became the MTC Scene Shop Foreman by
2005. When MTC closed its shop at the end of the 2006
season, he began investing his time and energy at another
company he had helped begin in 2004. He has since left
that organization and started Sightline Fabrication at the
end of 2007 with partner Jessica Kaplan. When he's not
building scenery, you can find him working on stone walls in
the UK and around the North East.
